Northdale Square in Thief River Falls, MN is currently seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a positive experience while visiting our deli.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, burgers, and appetizers
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide information about products
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, following food safety guidelines
- Operate deli equipment, such as slicers and ovens, in a safe manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate a POS system
As a full time Deli Associate at Northdale Square, you will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of customers and showcase your excellent communication skills. We are looking for individuals who are team players, detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude. This full time position comes with benefits, 38 - 40 hrs a week, & will need to work every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Food safety certification is a plus
