Title

Retail Pricing and Vendor Relations Administrator- directly reporting to the Director of Retail Operations

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Retail Pricing & Vendor Relations Administrator to oversee and manage core functions related to convenience store pricebook maintenance, vendor relationships, marketing coordination, and promotional execution. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s profitability through margin tracking, data accuracy, and effective collaboration with internal and external partners.

Full Time, 40 hours per week

Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 +DOE

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, but not required.

3+ years of experience in pricing, vendor relations, retail operations, buying support, or merchandising roles.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP/POS systems.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Basic understanding of math and margin calculations

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Key Responsibilities:

Pricebook Administration:
Maintain and update the company pricebook to ensure accurate pricing, cost, and margin data across all SKUs and product lines. Ensure promotional, seasonal, and standard pricing is accurate and aligned with company strategy.

Contract & Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors in collaboration with Director of Retail Operations; negotiate terms and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Coordinate contract setup, compliance tracking, and renewal timelines. Work with vendors and manufacturers and internal merchandising teams to support sourcing decisions.

Margin Tracking & Analysis:
Monitor product margins regularly and provide reporting and analysis to support pricing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze cost changes from vendors and their impact on retail pricing.

Data Entry & Reporting:
Accurately input and manage product and pricing data across internal systems; maintain data integrity and consistency. Generate reports on price changes, vendor performance, and margin trends to support category management and leadership decision-making.

Promotional Planning & Execution:
Coordinate vendor-funded and in-house promotional campaigns; track effectiveness and ROI of promotional efforts.

Marketing Management:
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop materials and campaigns that align with product strategies and vendor support programs.
